Have you ever seen a cat which is grand and has a regal air about it? Well you should know that you are looking at a pure breed Persian cat which has a thick-set body with muscular legs and a punched face. They love to be adored by those who like cats and by those who dont like cats as well.

The Persian cats are again categorized into sub families because they are liable to have certain differences in their features. If you look minutely you will not only discover that the color of their coats is dissimilar but there are other differences too. When it comes to Chinchilla breed it has certain special characteristics that separate them from the rest.

The Chinchilla Cat Club was started in 1908 when these cats were being exported to USA. When you have a Chinchilla breed on your hand and you have to be sure that it is a Persian Chinchilla cat, only way to do is to examine the color of their coat as that is the area where you will find the difference. The colors of the hair can actually differ. For example a pedigree Persian cat of black color would have only 1/7 of its hair as black.

The Chinchilla cats appear as if they have a shining silver coat because they have an under coat which is pure white with black tips on the hair of the head, back, tail and flank. These cats also have white hair on their chin, chest, stomach and ear tuffs but the legs are occasionally dotted with black tips.

The main alluring characteristic about these cats is the darkened rim of the eyes that would make you believe them as wearing eye makeup. Also the lips and nose are outlined black.

The tips of the cats coat are not always black as it is evident from Silver Shaded cats. You can see amazing variety of colors ranging from blue to lilac to chocolate. The Silver Shaded has more shadowing in their coats when you compare them to Chinchilla. It is a pleasure to imagine the wonderful outcome of these colors on the coat.

Also there is the Golden Shaded where the primary coat is multi colored which again is magnificent and a treat to see because of the wonderful effect it gives to the coat of the cat. moreover there is a variety known as the Cameo Persian which has some red in the tips of the coat.

The eyes are what the Chinchillas are distinguished with. All the Chinchillas, Golden shaded, Silver shaded and Cameo Persian cats of pure breed will have eyes which are either green or blue green. There is a little dissimilarity between the Golden Shaded and the rest of them as far as their rim colors are concerned. Whereas the Golden Shaded would have brown rims around their eyes and nose the rest of them have beautiful dark color rims around their eyes and nose.
